Girl(s) in guitar

Times to times I always say it ‘ I love  music’, sorry if you got all boring with it, but it’s true, I love art and music is my biggest passion. And speaking more specific, ballads to vintage rock is the most fun groove that hooks my ears. Since I was six, I feel that watching girl in guitar is  so cool. No wonder some female singers or musicians are in my favor. Some names like Jewel, Sheryl Crow, then today is off course Avril Lavigne.

And today, this Friday, I back again remembering Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay Lohan in Fready Friday the movie (released in 2003).

That time she was playing as Tess Coleman’s daughter ( played by Jamie Lee Curtis), named Anna Coleman. Anna Coleman was having a crush into a boy named Jake (which is played by Chad Michael Murray). Let me tell you, I love that cast.

Lindsay Lohan looked literally sweet, and her punk suit looks so fine. She sang rock songs, and played on her guitar. Cool .. just awesome. Very much different if compared to Lindsay these days, with all of her sensations,  but whatever :) . Still in my eyes, Anna Coleman is one of an unforgettable character.

Though I never make my life as a singer, but that never burry my interest and love in music, rock and guitar.

Another ballad today , I guess I have gotten back to my root, my being in love in art, and music as the biggest part of it. After yesterday I post about ADIA, today I wanna post about Powderfinger, an Aussie rock band with guitars mounting and radio’s ears hooking songs.

I first recognize this song when I was walking in youtube, and strike my self into supernatural clips. You know Supernatural don’t you ? the CW tv series about two winchesters brothers who fight againts demons, perhaps sound too odd, but quite entertaining I must say.

So this song , Nobody Sees, is used as the background soundtrack of the videos. I’m sorry I don’t notice the video URL, but I believe you can easily find it in youtube. It could ‘supernatural nobody sees’ or anything like it.

It’s like a great song, a great show, completely deep and mellow, I just love it. And tonight I’m gonna find the tones, play it with my old guitar, and sing it for my self perhaps :D

ADIA , have you any idea what is it about ? Well, here’s a bit story of it. After some couple of times searching for Avril videos -which is quite hard to get – , last Sunday I finally gotten them. There was a friend of mine who just went outside this town to bigger city and bought Avril’s videos for me.

I got two DVDs, both are live performance on stage. And one that ignites me very much, that makes me loves her more is the one that is a sort of an unplugged show. That is so awesome, her voice sounds so great, Avril looks naturally pretty in simple blue jeans and purple shirt, smokey-eyes-makeup, and the songs ? extremely cool music and sound.

So there’s a song there that she sang in this record, she said that it was a remake or cover. The song is titled ‘ADIA‘. It was a beautiful melodious ballads, that this morning, feel like I can’t wait to get the lyrics.

I’ve browsed the net and found that actually this song is also performed by Sarah McLachlan. I haven’t heard the Sarah version, but the one taken by Avril is absolutely catching my ears.

From what I read – in Sarah McLachlan release – The story is also really mellow about two girls, good friends , but then sadly they must broke after a coming of a guy between them two. Here’s the lyric of the song, if you like it, you may keep it :)
