Rick Santorum Wins Colorado & Minnesota Caucuses

Rick Santorum won the Minnesota Caucus and Colorado Caucus and a non-binding major in Missouri on Tuesday night, an unexpected sweep that brought up refreshing questions on Mitt Romney’s potential to win the Republican presidential nomination. Within the flip facet, it could support Romney inadvertently.

With Santorum rising as opposition to Newt Gingrich as being the principal choice to Romney, voters continue to veer among candidates but haven’t coalesced driving one regularly, usually leaving Romney forward almost by default.

Gingrich has won 1 state, South Carolina. Santorum has now won four, including Iowa. Romney won New Hampshire January 10 after which back-to-back victories in Florida and Nevada that had led to predictions that he was unavoidable.
