Andy Whitfield, who played the title role in the hit cable series “Spartacus: Blood and Sand,” has died at age 39, in accordance with representatives and family. Whitfield died Sunday in Sydney, Australia, 18 months right after he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (lymphoma cancer), manager Sam Maydew told the Associated Press.
Andy Whitfield – who was born in Wales and moved to Australia in 1999 – was a virtual unknown when he was cast since the legendary Thracian slave in “Spartacus,” a role produced well-known by Kirk Douglas inside the 1960 Stanley Kubrick film. Whitfield appeared in all 13 episodes from the 1st season that aired in 2010, and was preparing to shoot the second when he was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer.

New information has become exposed in regards to the life of Russell Armstrong, the estranged ex-husband of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong, the day soon after he committed suicide by hanging. In accordance with attorny Ronald Richards, Russell had been remaining at a friend’s home because of key financial troubles.
“His credit cards weren’t working,” Richards told TMZ. “He was also extremely bummed out about the divorce with Taylor. As far as a will, even if he does have a will, they don’t have any assets, so I’m not sure what there would be left to leave. I am extremely saddened… I had no idea he was depressed.”
