H.R. 5741 : Slave Labor?
Congressman Charlie Rangle (D) New York who can also be below investigation for ethics violations has released H.R. 5741. The bill would need all citizens of the United States in between the ages of 18 and 42 to serve 2 years wherever there’s a will need for assistance. It may be military, homeland security, or civilian service. Proper now with unemployment so higher people are attempting to obtain these kinds of work in federal government but they cannot. So the query here is why would they force somebody to complete a work that they wouldn’t employ them for? It wouldn’t make much sense. There are numerous applicants for these careers so why not just give them a job?
The bill is nonetheless in committee and being debated within the House Committee on Armed Services. It may be voted on quickly but hopefully not most likely. A similar bill was introduced not as well long ago referred to as H.R. 1444 which would have produced a “Congressional Commission on Civil Service” which President Obama had asked for. Once again, with so many individuals out of work why is there a will need for this kind of a bill? Just give the individuals who apply a work. Is there harm in that? What can be the point of this bill?
Could it be that the Congressman thinks govt will not be able to pay any person because they have invested each and every final dime for many years to come? Could it be they anticipate to generate less tax income following sending all of the careers to other countries? Could it be that they plan to commence war with Iran? All of these are issues that need to be answered. How did such a bill even allow it to be to debate?
