Mono Skier X Tyler Walker wins second gold in Winter X Games 14
Tyler Walker merebut medali emas pada the Mono Skier X finals in Winter X Games 14 in Aspen, CO, his second in a row. He moved to the finals earlier Sunday in the seminfinal runs with other mono skiers, Gregory Peck, Chris Devlin-Young and Kevin Connolly. Chris Devlin-Young held onto his first place position at the end of the semifinal run , but spilled over early in the final run. He continues to hold the title as the oldest mono skier in competition at 48 years old. Gregory Peck literally slid into the silver place position as he fell after the last jump. Kevin Connolly took the bronze position.
The Mono Skier X final took place Sunday afternoon, January 31, 2010 at 2 p.m. MT and was televised on televised on ESPN. Tyler Walker is a current member of the U.S. Adaptive Ski Team, a 2006 Paralympian and 2008 Winter X Game Mono Skier X gold medalist. Kevin Connolly, born without legs, is a photographer and 2007 Winter X Game silver medalist. He also designs and repairs his gear.
