If you are a fan of the Arizona Cardinals, this news is probably not all that surprising. Kurt Warner has ended him time playing football today. He’s been playing in the NFL for the last twelve seasons, but at the age of thirty-eight he has decided to step back from the game. This season was a tough one for the Cardinals quarterback. He suffered some injuries, and he knew in his last game - the playoff game against the New Orleans Saints - he was at the end of his career.

He gave it some thought before making his announcement today. As for his future plans, he is keeping quiet. He will go down the path the lord wants him. Always a religious man, this is not surprising. What does this mean for the future of the Arizona Cardinals? Looks like Matt Leinart will finally step into the lead quarterback position, and some rumors are flying on just who is back-up might end up being. Some say Michael Vic could come in to fill that slot. Best of luck to Kurt! Check out this video history of Kurt and his career in football.
