That’s the subject of the Lifetime movie “The Pregnancy Pact” that airs Saturday, Jan. 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Inspired by a true story, the film centers on a group of teenage girls who all seem to have fallen pregnant at the same time. Online journalist Sidney Bloom (Thora Birch) investigates the spike in pregnancies, while the school nurse Camryn Manheim tries to stop more from happening by making contraception available at school. This doesn’t go over so well in the conservative community.

Check out “The Pregancy Pact” trailer.

Similar pregnancy pact stories were also explored on episodes of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “Bones.”
