Earthquake Damages Humboldt County VIDEO
An earthquake 27 miles off the Californian coast today caused damages and power outages throughout Humboldt County and the city of Eureka today. Fortunately, the National Weather Service has announced that there is no threat of tsunami. Power outages have been reported in Eureka, and road, power line, and minor structural damage has been reported across Humboldt County. The earthquake hit at about 4:26pm and caused no injuries. The quake caused many to rush to hardware stores to purchase emergency items, like bottled water and generators, just in case.
