Why are women posting their bra color on Facebook?
I don’t check Facebook as much as I used to (because I’m working hard, hey boss!) but when I checked this afternoon, I noticed that all of my female Facebook friends, from various locations around the country, were sharing the color of their bra. Why? Apparently to raise breast cancer awareness. The meme was apparently spread by the forwarding of a Facebook message that read:
“Something fun is going on. Write the color of your bra in your status. Just the color, nothing else. And send this on to ONLY women no men. It will be neat to see if this will spread the wings of cancer awareness. It will be fun to see how long it takes before the men wonder why the women have a color in their status…..LOL!”
This is a pretty clever way to raise awareness of breast cancer, and it certainly has a lot of male Facebookers confused. This information would have been very valuable in junior high.

Pink, Black, White… Just females doing what they do best “playing games” and thinking they are clever “keeping a secret”! Why don’t you truly “raise awareness” by reminding others, including men, to do all the pre-screening they can for all kinds of disease.
