Ohio State Michigan Game 2009
Today will again see one of the most intense rivalries come to head. Ohio State vs Michigan today for the 2009 game.
Although interest in the game due to factors surrounding the teams isn’ that intense.
Michigan has been beaten by Ohio State five times straight, being the longest winning run for Ohio since the 1920’s.
In this 200 game , teams such as the Buckeyes coming into the Ohio State are ranked 9th in the AP poll (9-2, 6-2 in the big ten). They have already gained a spot in the Rose Bowl and a share in the fifth straight ten conference title.
On the other hand Michigan (5-6, 1-6 in the big ten), are seeing a shocking year. Michigan had a nine loss season in 2008. In the Ohio State-Michigan 2009 game the Wolverines are almost a two- touchdown underdog.
This loss would be their second consecutive losing record being a first for the Wolverines since 1962-63 seasons.
Tha gamblers will be keeping a close eye on this game, especially if Michigan can keep OSU within their TD betting line, or not. The game will also mean a lot to the alumni and students.
On both campuses the game will be a draw card for the 2009 game much like other rivalries such as Stanford- Berkley and Army- Navy, the results mean little in this game, its all about the win.
