A D I A
ADIA , have you any idea what is it about ? Well, here’s a bit story of it. After some couple of times searching for Avril videos -which is quite hard to get - , last Sunday I finally gotten them. There was a friend of mine who just went outside this town to bigger city and bought Avril’s videos for me.
I got two DVDs, both are live performance on stage. And one that ignites me very much, that makes me loves her more is the one that is a sort of an unplugged show. That is so awesome, her voice sounds so great, Avril looks naturally pretty in simple blue jeans and purple shirt, smokey-eyes-makeup, and the songs ? extremely cool music and sound.
So there’s a song there that she sang in this record, she said that it was a remake or cover. The song is titled ‘ADIA‘. It was a beautiful melodious ballads, that this morning, feel like I can’t wait to get the lyrics.
I’ve browsed the net and found that actually this song is also performed by Sarah McLachlan. I haven’t heard the Sarah version, but the one taken by Avril is absolutely catching my ears.
From what I read - in Sarah McLachlan release - The story is also really mellow about two girls, good friends , but then sadly they must broke after a coming of a guy between them two. Here’s the lyric of the song, if you like it, you may keep it ![]()

ADIA - Avril Lavigne
Adia I do believe I failed you
Adia I know I let you down
Don’t you know I tried so hard
To love you in my way
It’s easy let it go…
Adia I’m empty since you left me
Trying to find a way to carry on
I search myself and everyone
To see where we went wrong
’cause there’s no one left to finger
There’s no one here to blame
There’s no one left to talk to, honey
And there ain’t no one to buy our innocence
’cause we are born innocent
Believe me adia, we are still innocent
It’s easy, we all falter
Does it matter?
Adia I thought that we could make it
But I know I can’t change the way you feel
I leave you with your misery
A friend who won’t betray
I pull you from your tower
I take away your pain
And show you all the beauty you possess
If you’d only let yourself believe that
We are born innocent
Believe me adia, we are still innocent
It’s easy, we all falter, does it matter?
Believe me adia, we are still innocent
’cause we are born innocent
Adia we are still innocent
It’s easy, we all falter … but does it matter?

I love this
