bloody story of Colosseum
Colosseum was site where an enormous exhibition was held. There are various kinds of shows during that moment, they are :
- the collition of beasts ( venetaiones),
- fighting between beasts against prisoners,
- prisoners execution ( noxii),
- water battle (naumachiae), that was overflowing the arena,
- fighting between gladiators.
Dio Cassius - a history expert said that during the gladiator moment, there have been about 9000 beasts killed in 100 days after the proclamation of Colosseum. The sandy layer on the wooden arena was made on purpose, that is to avoid blood to flow.
The gladiator kept continuing shown until the Christians gradually stopped this game, considering this game has caused too many sacrifices.
