Tokugawa had been fearful of rebellion, therefore, a rule was made towards the Daimyo, that was Daimyo must live in capital. They were allowed to inspect their provinces once in a time, and not allowed to bring their family with them.

Samurai was a civil servant of the feudal, which was very loyal, to the authority and to the system of the country which counted on military. Samurai served a Shogun/Jenderalisimo which beat the barbarian ( Ruth Benedic, 1979). In each province, Shogun has Daimyo which authored the province/perfecture. Daimyo had samurai who’s been loyal with all their body and soul .

Samurai during Tokugawa authority was like untouchable by legal laws. They had a right to bring their swords anywhere, they had the right to be respected and the right to command. Though sword was never missed out of them, but most of samurai were arts experts that developed peacekeeping anywhere.

More time rolled, the samurai caste had attracted other caste like traders. This condition has created assimilation of caste through married or by adoption. In this case, the rich traders’ hereditary can be samurai, and vice versa, the samurai may enjoy the delicacy of the wealth. Later on, this circumstance would accelerate the destruction of feudal system of Tokugawa.
