Dennis Kucinich to vote for Obama’s health care bill
Rep. Dennis Kucinich, a fierce critic on the health care reform bill from the Democrats’ left, relented Wednesday and said he would vote for it.
The Ohio Democrat’s decision brings House Speaker Nancy Pelosi one member closer for the 216 votes she needs to pass reform.
But Kucinich is not doing work gladly, and the capitulation comes just after intense pressure from Pelosi and President Obama, who moved to Ohio with Kucinich earlier this week.
“I have taken this fight farther than many in Congress have been willing to take it,” Kucinich said, arguing that he owed it to his constituents to push for a single-payer health-care system that ends the ability of insurance companies.
But, he said, “In the past week, it’s become clear that the vote on the final health bill will be very close.”
And he doesn’t want to be the main one who scuttles reform, even if he doesn’t think it’s suitable.
“I know I have to make a decision on the bill not as I’d like to see it, but as it is,” he said.
“After careful discussions with President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, my wife Elizabeth and close friends, I’ve decided to cast my vote in favor.”
He insisted he would not hold on there, though, and pledged to keep pushing for much more robust reforms.
“I’ve taken a detour through supporting this bill,” he said.

Say it isn’t so! Hot tattoo model, Michelle “Bombshell” McGee, is dishing dirt about a supposed affair she had with Sandra Bullock’s husband, Jesse James… Just when things had been settling down for Bullock and James in regards for the custody battle over Jame’s daughter with his ex porn star wife, Janine Lindemulder.
I’ve usually loved Sandra Bullock, she was incredible and adorable in “While You Were Sleeping” and I by no means got her marriage to Jesse James but they seemed to be the wacky couple that endured together and I undoubtedly hope this is nothing much more than a rumor simply because it would suck if it was true.
McGee told “In Touch” magazine that she had a torrid affair lasting 11 months although Bullock was away filming “The Blind Side” and that she not only thought James and Bullock have been separated but that she was in a severe relationship… Say it ain’t so!!!
I hope it is just rubbish because no a single deserves to become cheated on!!! Bear in mind how Bullock entirely thanked James as well during her Oscar speech! How embarrassing and what a total let down James would be if this turns out to become accurate. McGee claims to have text messages and phone records… Uhg!

Man arrested in Utah of kicking Greyhound driver
SALT LAKE CITY — Police say a Greyhound bus veered off Interstate 70 and by way of a fence in rural Utah after a passenger kicked the driver within the head.
Santos Antonio Munoz-Gonzalez of Springdale, Kan., is jailed on suspicion of bus jacking, criminal trespassing and 26 counts of aggravated assault.
Six individuals, such as the driver, were treated for minor injuries.
Authorities say the attacker ran and was discovered hiding within the rafters of a garage.
Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Jeff Nigbur says the bus was westbound late Monday night when a passenger from the third row ran towards the front and attacked the driver.
The bus went off the road near Richfield right after crossing the median and oncoming visitors.
Nigbur says he doesn’t know why the man attacked the driver.
